CO-FOUNDER
Ashley Dutra
Ashley brings over a decade of experience partnering with Founders and CEOs of venture backed startups and public companies.
Prior to starting CoCreate, Ashley was a Partner and early member of the People and Talent Practice at True Search, supporting the firm’s growth from 100-900+ people over seven years. Ashley also led GTM recruiting for Counsyl, a genetic testing company backed by Founders Fund and Felicis Ventures.
She specializes in building the leadership functions of high-growth organizations, and providing counsel to CEOs and founders during their most critical moments in building.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ashley is dedicated to personal growth and entrepreneurship. She is deeply passionate about human design, meditation, and sustainable living. When she’s not working, you can find her hiking, at the local farmers market, or traveling.

Morgan Shapiro
Morgan is a seasoned recruiting professional with a proven track record of scaling high-growth tech companies. Originally from San Diego, she moved to the Bay Area in 2005. Her career journey began at Zynga, where she honed her skills in full-cycle recruiting for Business Partnerships roles. Over the next six years, she steadily rose through the ranks at Lyft, culminating in her role as Recruiting Director.
At Verkada, Morgan played a pivotal role in the company's rapid expansion. As Director of Global Recruiting, she oversaw the successful growth of the company from 200 to 1800 employees.
Her strategic leadership led to the establishment of 16 new offices worldwide, significantly expanding Verkada's global footprint. Additionally, she built and managed a high-performing global recruiting team, optimizing talent acquisition strategies across diverse regions.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Morgan is a natural connector with a magnetic personality. She thrives on hearing people's stories and has a unique ability to make others feel valued and understood. Her passion for connecting people and her deep understanding of the talent acquisition landscape make her a highly sought-after leader in the industry. When she’s not recruiting, you can find her spending time with her family (littles, husband, and dog) or exploring the trails in Marin.
CO-FOUNDER
Ryan Sapper
Before co-founding CoCreate, Ryan was the founder of Early Stage Talent, a boutique recruiting consultancy focused on helping startups make foundational hires. His clients included Gamma, Vercel, Datafold, Compa, BRM, and several others.
With over a decade of experience in technical recruiting, Ryan has built and led teams across startups and large-scale organizations. He has a proven track record of helping early-stage companies scale, with three successful exits under his belt: Optimizely (2020), Causes (2017), and TaskRabbit (2014). He has partnered with companies from some of the best VC firms in the world including Accel, A16Z, Amplify, NEA, Sequoia, First Round Capital, and many others.
Ryan also spent five years at Meta, where he played a key role in growing several Engineering and Product organizations during a period of rapid expansion. Across each of his roles, he has consistently led searches for Engineering and Product leaders. He continues to focus on Director-level and above roles, partnering closely with founders on executive searches. His ability to align hiring strategy with business goals makes him a trusted advisor during critical growth moments.
Ryan is energized by momentum, business critical hires, early teams, and the opportunity to help build from zero to one. When he’s not recruiting, he’s usually spending time with his wife and two toddler daughters, or squeezing in a round of golf when he can.
PRINCIPAL
Christina Galarneau
Christina is a Principal at CoCreate and brings over a decade of recruiting experience across healthcare, engineering, and go-to-market roles. Prior to joining CoCreate, Christina focused on placing Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product Marketing leaders at earlier stage startups.
In her free time, Christina enjoys painting and growing food in her garden. She lives in Marin with her husband and two children and tries to take advantage of all the great hiking and outdoor activities Marin has to offer year round.
