Cate brings nearly eight years of executive search experience focused on building go-to-market leadership teams for high-growth, venture-backed technology companies. She specializes in VP of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer searches, partnering with founders, boards, and investors to identify and recruit exceptional commercial leaders.

Cate began her career in sales before transitioning into executive search, where she developed a particular expertise in early-stage companies and their first critical sales leadership hires. She has spent much of her career partnering directly with founders to recruit the VP of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer talent responsible for building a company’s initial go-to-market engine and scaling it through its next phase of growth.

Her work has spanned companies from early-stage startups through category-defining growth businesses, with a particular focus on identifying executives who can build, scale, and lead high-performing go-to-market organizations. In her free time, Cate spends time with her three young children, husband and dog Stella!
